Project Update Q4 2022

Project Update Q4 2022

The Quad Cities Chamber works with a variety of companies on relocating to or expanding in the region. Find information below on the business attraction and expansion projects the team worked on in the fourth quarter of 2022 and some highlights of our recent successes.

PCT Ebeam and Integration – Project Gimlet

  • In May 2022, PCT Ebeam, asked for the Chamber’s assistance in identifying resources to facilitate an expansion project at their Davenport location. The Chamber connected PCT Ebeam with the IEDA and other resources to aid the expansion, which when completed, will double the size of their existing 30,000-square-foot facility.
  • The additional space will allow PCT Ebeam to expand their fabrication and assembly capacity. When completed in the summer of 2023, the facility will be morphed into a 60,000-square-foot-facility capable of undertaking larger-scale operations.
  • The project will yield a total annual economic impact of over $4.2 million.

Project Stats

There are a total of 33 projects to date for FY23 (beginning July 1, 2022) compared to 42 for the same period last fiscal year. In addition, staff hosted two site visits with the company representatives.
