Expected To Be Complete In 2021

The I-74 bridge, connecting roads in Bettendorf and Davenport, Iowa and Moline, Illinois across the Mississippi River, is currently undergoing a $1.2 billion replacement project. Beginning in July of 2017, construction consists of replacing the existing bridge with new highway ramps and reconfigured roads. The current bridge is overcapacity, causing traffic delays and frequent repairs. The new bridge, expected to be complete in 2021. will be able to accommodate current and future traffic volumes.
