RI Arsenal invites manufacturers to participate in a hiring fair 

The Rock Island Arsenal has announced a workforce reduction at the Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (JTMC). To assist those being impacted in finding new employment, the Arsenal will hold a hiring fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 28, at the Rock Island Arsenal-Heritage Hall.  

The Arsenal is looking for Quad Cities region employers, particularly those in the manufacturing industry, to participate in the hiring fair. The job seekers are mainly skilled in manufacturing occupations including: welders, assemblers, machinists, painters, engineering technicians and program analysts. 

There is no charge for employers to participate in the hiring fair.  Each employer will have their own booth to promote their company and job opportunities as well as meet with prospective employees.
