US Bank: Adopting new payment methods key to customer satisfaction
This year has presented challenges and opportunities for everyone, shining a light on new, creative ways of doing business and serving customers.
Sponsored by US Bank, the Quad Cities Chamber hosted a webinar Thursday, Oct. 1, that covered best practices for businesses as they adjust to new consumer demands. During the presentation, Bradley Munos of US Bank discussed how businesses can boost customer satisfaction by offering them their preferred way to pay for goods and services.
Simply accepting credit and debit cards is no longer enough, he said. For example, contactless payments, a method used to minimize the spread of germs at the point of sale, grew 150% over the last year. Additionally, most retail sectors saw a 74% jump in online transactions in March 2020 compared to March 2019.
