New Chamber website

We’re excited to share that the new Chamber website is now live! You might have noticed the polished new look and feel of the site over the past few days, and we want to explain all the features that will make your journey here more efficient and enjoyable.

The new website will play a key role in providing our members with useful online resources, educating site visitors on the opportunities available in the Quad Cities region and attracting new businesses and talent to the region.

“The newly refreshed website tells the story of the Chamber, its mission and our community in a way that makes it easy to find the resources you’re looking for with new intuitive navigation and a super menu allowing fewer clicks to any page on the site,” said Chamber Director of Marketing Jennifer Verscha. “My favorite additions are the new Explore QC sections giving you a glimpse of what it’s like to live and work in the QC. Plus, you can hear what Quad Citizens love about our community and what keeps them here. For our members, I think the new employee recruitment tool page is invaluable as it provides resources for HR professionals to use when looking to hire new candidates from other regions. It even includes printable fact sheets about the community and reasons why the QC is a great place to move to.”

This site is designed to provide the resources and information you need whenever you need it, along with new features designed to enhance your user experience. The main website navigation consists of four sections:

  1. Explore QC is where you'll find info on what makes the Quad Cities a great place to build a career and a family. You can find info on featured employers, regional downtowns, neighborhoods, fun things to do and much more.

  2. The Locate & Grow Business section is the go-to location for all business questions related to economic development, business resources, government affairs and also a new workforce section. This is where existing and prospective companies can learn all about what makes the Quad Cities the perfect place to do business.

  3. Regional Data provides useful demographic and business intelligence data to empower you to make informed decisions on the QC region.

  4. Chamber Membership offers members easily accessible information related to benefits and programs to become more engaged in the Chamber community.

New Features

  • The new Employee Recruitment Toolkit is where employers and recruiters can find the tools they need to land the perfect candidate. We help you paint a picture of the region so you can tell your top prospects the Quad Cities story.
  • A new Relocation Services page gives visitors a full breakdown of relocation resources available to make their move to the QC seamless. Plus the Relocation Incentives page presents visitors with info on how they can receive financial assistance during their move.
  • The Events page has been conveniently placed in the header at the top of every page, so users can easily find all Chamber and Chamber-member events.
  • Visitors can find the Member Directory in the header as well, making it easier to find listings for each Chamber member, where they share important business information.
  • The sleek new website design features fresh layouts, menus, images and a more user-friendly navigation system that makes finding what you’re looking for simple.

The Chamber website intends to serve multiple audiences, from Quad Citizens, business owners and Chamber member employees, to individuals hoping to relocate to the QC and site selectors scouting the area for a new business location. The Quad Cities Chamber is dedicated to facilitating business growth and this website serves as a one-stop resource for all regional stakeholders. Our new digital home reflects our mission to provide businesses with resources and create a more collaborative and inclusive community environment in the Quad Cities. We encourage you to explore the website for yourself and check out all the new features.

“My hope is that the site refresh will help our members save time in finding the resources they need to grow their businesses and educate both businesses and people on why choosing the QC is the perfect decision,” said Verscha.

The Chamber worked with TAG to design and develop the website, and we would like to express our gratitude to the TAG team for all of their hard work in helping us transform our vision for the site into a polished platform.
