Advocacy Action Center

In an effort to better connect Quad Cities Chamber members and their elected representatives, we've launched a new Advocacy Action Center. Elevating the voices of businesses across the region remains a top priority for the Chamber, and the revitalized Advocacy Action Center will provide an easy and efficient method of communication to elected officials. Sign up for the Advocacy Action Center.

As the Chamber continues to advocate on various issues related to our Regional Advocacy Priorities, it remains crucial that members voice their opinions on policy issues at every level of government. The Advocacy Action Center is designed to increase business involvement in issues influencing our region's growth. Through surveys, petitions, letters, social media and phone calls, the Chamber is committed to ensuring the issues facing our regional employers are brought to the attention of lawmakers, so they understand the real-life consequences of their decisions.

Business urged to support bipartisan infrastructure legislation

Businesses are urged to show their support for the Bipartisan Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act awaiting a vote in the U.S. House of Representatives through the Advocacy Action Center. The Chamber believes investments in infrastructure are critical to economic growth, and the legislation being debated would result in needed funding for our region’s roads and bridges, rail and transit services, as well as our water systems and broadband developments. Further, the legislation would create a demand for more workers to complete these eventual projects, helping boost the return to work following the pandemic.

Having already passed the U.S. Senate, the Chamber is urging its members to sign their name on letters to be sent to U.S. Representatives Bustos and Miller-Meeks to tell them to support this historic investment ahead of the upcoming vote in the House.
