Meet the Membership & Events team

There’s a new team at the Quad Cities Chamber with the launch of the Membership & Events department, which will play a pivotal role in the Chamber’s efforts to support and promote our local business community. The Membership & Events department consists of six full-time team members who will be working directly with our members to manage and maximize the benefits of their memberships. In addition, the team will also be the chief organizers of Chamber networking and signature events.

The Chamber’s Membership & Events Team consists of the following members:

• Terri Smith, Coordinator, Events
• Alison Ryley, Manager, Membership Sales
• Jake Wirz, Manager, Membership Sales
• Kenzi Yates, Manager, Events

Hyder, Klemme, Possehl and Smith are familiar faces at the Chamber, while Yates, Wirz and Ryley are the Chamber’s latest additions and have already hit the ground running in their new positions.

Executive Director Marcy Hyder will lead the new team. Hyder said that the team is the perfect collection of talented individuals. “I’m excited to lead the Membership & Events department and we’ve put together an exceptional team that our members will be pleased to work with,” said Hyder. “Each team member has a unique and valuable skillset that will prove to be a great asset toward our mission of making the Quad Cities region a better place to work, play and grow.”

Events

Chamber Members will run into Smith and Yates at all Chamber events, and also work with them for any member celebrations such as ribbon cuttings and groundbreakings.

Member Services

Klemme will be the main point of contact for prospective and existing Chamber members and will work hand in hand with our members to help them utilize all of the benefits that come with a Chamber membership. There are so many resources at our members' fingertips and we’re eager to show what the Chamber has to offer.

Membership Sales

The team also has new boots on the ground to promote our region’s business community with the additions of Membership Sales Managers Ryley and Wirz. They will be actively recruiting new members and connecting with businesses to grow our membership base.
