Hob Nosh puts spotlight on QC businesses; brings new experiences for attendees
Get ready for something new at Hob Nosh. The Chamber's most anticipated after-hours event, presented by Mediacom, will be Wednesday, April 2 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Bend XPO Center in East Moline. Advanced registration closes soon, so register now and save.
"This is going to be our biggest Hob Nosh yet with 34 Chamber member tables and 27 food and beverage tables," said Anna Possehl, Events Manager for the Chamber. "We really wanted attendees to experience something from us that they haven't seen before. It's not your typical after-hours event," she said, adding that Chamber members from all industries have the opportunity to showcase their exceptional products and services.
New this year is an authentic chuck wagon provided by TDR Carriages, that will provide adult beverages sponsored by the Bend. Also new is a 360 Photo Booth by QC Photo Booth to make fun video memories with colleagues and friends; and Davenport-based food truck, Coffee and Crumb.
Other sips and samples at Hob Nosh include chicken and waffles, Lotus Energy Drinks, locally brewed beers, smoked salmon crostinis, caprese skewers, pastries and much more.
"Hob Nosh is one of the best networking events in the Quad Cities and truly my favorite," said Anjelica Post of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Moving & Storage. "It was one of the first events I attended after relocating to the area and beginning my career with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK. This event offered me a fantastic opportunity to network with local professionals, learn about businesses within the community, meet new friends and introduce the Quad Cities to our brand."
Post added that she feels that Hob Nosh is particularly valuable in its ability to introduce businesses to new audiences and offer an opportunity to share unique insights about a brand that may not be widely known. "I strongly encourage every business in the Quad Cities to either host a booth or attend this event! It’s an excellent chance to network, build connections and engage with others in a lively and enjoyable atmosphere."
This year TWO MEN AND A TRUCK will have a prize wheel for attendees to spin and win, plus they will have some Spring Junk Removal coupons for people visiting their booth.
Penny McGimpsey, of WQUD-FM 107.7 Vintage Radio has been a longtime vendor at Hob Nosh and is once again looking forward to the large crowd the event draws. "It's a great opportunity for us to promote our #1 Live & Local radio station and also pour samples from Potosi Brewery of Potosi, Wisconsin. It's always a terrific time," she said.
