Generation Next announces first cohort

Generation Next is a brand new program bringing together the best and brightest mid-career professionals to prepare them for careers as community leaders, and the first cohort is all set to embark on their journey.

The individuals selected for the first cohort possess a unique combination of skills and experiences that make them prime candidates to be future community leaders. These cohort members are already active in business, government and nonprofit organizations.

Cohort members will meet once a month for four months and will attend workshops, panel discussions, networking opportunities and more, all designed to prepare them for community service as board and committee members. Through these programs, cohort members will gain expertise in community engagement, become more connected to the QC community and gain insight into how to run for elected office and be an informed voter.

We can't wait to see the change that program participants create in the Quad Cities region, and we're proud to announce the first cohort for Generation Next:
