Dav Roundtable

The Quad Cities Chamber convened a roundtable on January 21, bringing together 29 members of the regional business community with City of Davenport officials for a focused, productive discussion on issues shaping the City’s future.

The roundtable created a candid, solutions-oriented space for business leaders and city representatives to exchange perspectives on several high-priority topics, including impending property tax changes, economic development, homelessness and city development and permitting processes. These conversations reflect the Chamber’s ongoing commitment to connecting community stakeholders directly with decision-makers and advocating for policies that support a strong, competitive regional economy.

This is the fifth and final local government roundtable of our first annual cycle; we appreciate and are encouraged by the level of participation and engagement from both our municipalities and local stakeholders from each of the five cities. The Chamber looks forward to continuing our work to forge public and private sector partnerships in our region.
