Leadership QC cohort

The Chamber is pleased to announce the participants for its third Leadership QC cohort. Beginning this week, this group of 12 community-minded leaders and change-makers from the area's business and non-profit world will have a chance to discuss and facilitate solutions to our community's most challenging business and social issues. The program is designed to inspire a generation of community servants and leaders who will leave an indelible mark on this community and to create a place where all members can grow, thrive and experience prosperity in a way that is meaningful to them.

Participants for this cohort include the following Quad Cities professionals:

  • Angela Campbell, Rock Island Library
  • Loredana Cooper, Blackhawk College
  • Ramona Dixon, Rock Island/Milan School District
  • Tim Jackson, John Deere
  • Amy Jones, Royal Neighbors
  • Joan Kranovich, Visit Quad Cities
  • Tyler Lanz, Mississippi Valey Workforce Development Board
  • Jaclyn Macias, City of Silvis
  • Randy Olson, Twin States Services
  • Monica Silliman, John Deere Seeding
  • Jennifer Verscha, Quad Cities Chamber.
  • Adam Watkins, Fidlar Technologies

Tyler Lanz, Communications Assistant, Mississippi Valley Workforce Development Board, applied for Leadership QC to “collaborate with change-makers in the Quad Cities to expand opportunities in our local area to reduce barriers to unemployment.”

Monica Silliman, Factory Engineering Manager at John Deere Seeding had similar goals when applying, “I would like to gain a better understanding of the challenges faced in our community and take an active role in supporting solutions. I believe that engagement from community members is an important component of lasting change.”

"Oftentimes I feel I am underrepresented," said Jaclyn Macias, Payroll Administrator for the City of Silvis. "I would love to take part in this program to open my eyes to all that the area - professionally and personally - has to offer. I would call it a success if someone were to say, 'If she did it, then certainly I can too.' "

The 9-month program meets once per month, through September 2024. Applications for the 2025 cohort open again in the fall.
