Chamber hosts roundtable with City of Bettendorf
This week, the Chamber hosted a local government roundtable in Bettendorf, bringing together city officials and business leaders for an open, solutions-focused discussion on the issues shaping the local business environment.
The dialogue covered a range of topics, including:
- Details surrounding the police station and future downtown projects
- The importance of predictability in tax policy and development along key commercial corridors like Devils Glen and Middle Road
The Chamber continues to serve as a bridge between the private and public sectors, creating opportunities for direct, face-to-face feedback that helps shape policies and priorities. These roundtables ensure that local businesses have a voice in decisions that affect growth and competitiveness. We’re excited to keep working with our members and Bettendorf officials to promote a sensible, business-friendly environment—not just in Bettendorf, but across the entire Quad Cities region.
This Bettendorf event builds on similar roundtables held in the Illinois Quad Cities last summer, with another scheduled in Davenport this January. These conversations are part of the Chamber’s Legislative Events Series, which has expanded to include more locally focused forums aimed at strengthening collaboration between municipal governments and the business community.
