Chamber dissolves PACs, supports new business-aligned Super PAC TWWQC

After years of operating two Political Action Committees (PACs), endorsing candidates and collecting voluntary contributions from members to support them, the Quad Cities Chamber has dissolved its PACs and identified a better way forward. 

The Chamber will no longer manage a PAC but provide contractual services to a newly formed federal Super PAC operating in the Quad Cities region. The new group, the Together We Win Quad Cities PAC (TWWQC), will endorse candidates and make independent expenditures to support issues and candidates aligned with the Quad Cities regional business community’s needs.

The Chamber will continue to take positions on issues relevant to our members in both Iowa and Illinois but will not endorse candidates. Additionally, the Chamber continues to encourage voluntary contributions from its members, which will be directed to TWWQC to specifically support the Quad Cities business community’s needs.
