Quad Cities Chamber denounces latest round of hate flyers, calls on business community to act

The latest round of racist white nationalist flyers and messages being spread in the Quad Cities are unacceptable, and we cannot tolerate them as a community. The Quad Cities Chamber continues to stand with our partners in denouncing these hateful messages meant to work against our region’s Q2030 goals. More importantly, the Chamber will continue to work with our partners to create the community we aspire to be – one globally recognized for attracting talent and business, embracing our culturally rich and diverse community, inspiring innovation and encouraging lifelong learning. We have more work to do on our journey to foster belongingness and inclusion within the Quad Cities.

“When you see racism, speak up, say something – don’t just let it happen,” Chamber President & CEO Paul Rumler said. “We need businesses to help, we need your activism and we hope you’ll join us in standing up against racism throughout our community.”
