- Fair Oaks Foods will construct a state-of-the-art food production facility producing fully cooked bacon. The $134 million investment includes a 150,000 square-foot facility in the Eastern Iowa Industrial Center in Davenport and will create an estimated 247 new full-time jobs. The company plans to start operations in early 2024. This successful project earns the title of highest annual economic impact for generating an astounding $182 million in our region every year.

- The Chamber held a ribbon-cutting ceremony in June to celebrate the opening of The Granary in Eldridge. In this business, two worlds collide as the menu offers both coffee and beer. The Chamber provided assistance to this business every step of the way towards establishing a location.
