Sip, sample, mix and mingle at Hob Nosh 2024

Get set to kick your networking game up a notch. The Chamber's most anticipated after-hours event is almost here and you won't want to miss it. Hob Nosh, presented by Mediacom Business and TBK Bank, is making its return on Thursday, April 11 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Waterfront Convention Center in Bettendorf. Hob Nosh is a great opportunity to connect with local businesses, forge new relationships and sample some of the Quad Cities' favorite sips and samples. With 27 food and beverage vendors, and 21 Chamber member tables to explore, there's something for everyone. And you can cap off the evening with live music by local favorite, Funktastic 5. 

"Hob Nosh is an event like no other, and we're really proud to host it. We've packed an incredible amount of food and fun into a 3-hour event! It's all the best of the Quad Cities," said Kenzi Yates, Manager, Events for the Quad Cities Chamber.  

You'll taste savory and satisfying appetizers from a variety of local restaurants. Menu items this year include ceviche, filet mignon lollipops, caprese skewers, shrimp cocktail and pork belly. Delectable sweets include creme brulee cupcakes, chocolate-covered strawberries and gelato. Sip a specialty coffee drink or refreshing shaved ice - then indulge in samples of locally brewed craft beer, handcrafted premium spirits and local wine, or try the new Bloody Mary bar. Also new this year is a hand-carved ice bar featuring champagne and non-alcoholic bubbly. A cash bar will also be available.

Leah Allen, Isle Casino Hotel / Quad-Cities Waterfront Convention Center is looking forward to the event. "I believe that networking is an investment in any business whether it’s to build relationships, collaborate with partners or gain a different perspective," she said. "Hob Nosh provides the opportunity to introduce ourselves, our business and the services we have to offer in a fun after-hours event."
