(Quad Cities) – The Illinois Growth Political Action Committee (PAC) of the Quad Cities Chamber announces support for these candidates for city council in East Moline, Moline and Rock Island.
- East Moline 4 - Jayne O’Brien
- Moline Ward 1 - Scott Williams
- Moline Ward 3 - Mike Wendt
- Rock Island 2 - Randy Hurt (write-in candidate)
- Rock Island 4 - Don Mewes
- Rock Island 6 - Mark Poulos
“The Quad Cities Chamber has long been the leading voice and advocate for our business community, and the PAC supports candidates who are committed to pro-business policies,” said Aaron Tennant, CEO of Total Solutions and chair of the Illinois Growth PAC. “Business plays a fundamental role in our local economy, and we are pleased to endorse these candidates who will encourage a strong business climate.”
All candidates for city council in East Moline, Moline and Rock Island were invited to fill out a questionnaire focused on business issues. The PAC determined endorsements based solely on the answers provided in the returned questionnaires. Candidates who did not return a questionnaire were not considered.
Elections will be held April 2, and early voting has started in Rock Island County.
