The Quad Cities Chamber welcomes Jennifer Walker as its new Vice President, Communications. Walker is a marketing professional and strategic leader with 25 years experience in communications, public relations, brand building, events, project management and relationship development. In her role at the Chamber, Walker is responsible for managing a team of communications and events professionals that are focused on implementing a comprehensive communications, marketing, events and brand management strategy for the Chamber.
Walker is no stranger to the Chamber, however, having previously served in the role from 2014-15. Additionally, Walker’s work experience includes United Way of the Quad Cities Area, UpStream Consulting, and Renaissance Rock Island. She has extensive and diverse volunteer community involvement with an array of area non-profit and arts organizations dedicated to community betterment. She currently serves on the boards of the Rock Island Community Foundation, Quad City Botanical Center, and the Illinois Quad City Civic Center Authority (TaxSlayer Center), where she made history as its first female board chair.
“Jennifer’s diverse experience in marketing and community development made her the ideal candidate for this position,” said Quad Cities Chamber President and CEO Paul Rumler. “We’re happy to have her on the team.”

Walker holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism/Mass Communications and English from the University of Iowa.
