The Quad Cities Chamber has hired Dr. Mike Oberhaus as its new Vice President, Finance and Administration. In this role Dr. Oberhaus will be responsible for the financial management and reporting of all Chamber entities in addition to managing the annual audit, internal operations, human resources and information technology.
Dr. Oberhaus will bring over 35 years of experience in finance and administration to the Chamber, including 19 years as Comptroller/Treasurer/Clerk for Rock Island-Milan School District (RIMSD) before assuming roles as Associate Superintendent and Superintendent. He has been very involved in the community, serving on non-profit boards and collaborating on workforce initiatives. Dr. Oberhaus, a certified public accountant (CPA), has an accounting degree from St. Ambrose University and an MBA from the University of Iowa.

His finance and accounting experience, community involvement and leadership, and demonstrated ability to think and act strategically made him the ideal candidate for this position,” says Paul Rumler, President and CEO of the Quad Cities Chamber. “Mike will be a great addition to the Chamber team.”
Dr. Oberhaus will begin his position with the Chamber in January 2019 on a part-time basis and will join the Chamber team full-time upon his retirement from RIMSD.
