Many Quad Citizens are looking for ways to get involved and help the victims of Hurricane Harvey and numerous Chamber members have committed to organize efforts to serve those impacted. Take a look at the list of companies helping in the recovery process and see the ways you can lend support:

American Red Cross – Support relief efforts, help those affected by Hurricane Harvey – make a donation here.

CraftedQC - Donating 10% of all sales (also includes classes) through Saturday, September 2. Purchase a Homegrown Iowa shirts and 100% of proceeds will go to relief. Raw Image Photography will be donating 20% of sales. CraftedQC is also accepting cash donations, all of which will be donated to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Harvey relief.

C&W Trucking –  Help fill a trailer full of supplies headed to Houston for Harvey victims. The full list of items they are looking for includes food, blankets, pillows, cleaning supplies, pet food, bottled water, diapers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, toilet paper, soap, razors, deodorant, clothes, socks, first aid kits and shoes.

The truck will be leaving from C&W Trucking on Tuesday sometime. If you would like to donate, just stop by 4100 Elm Street in Bettendorf. Learn more>

Fleet Feet Sports - Fleet Feet has partnered with the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center to help ensure the Blood Center is able to provide lifesaving products locally and in Texas. K9 Kindness Rescue, Inc – Staff is heading to Beaumont to help with rescue efforts of humans, as well as bring several canine flood victims back here. A GoFundMe page is set up to cover vetting costs for the dogs taken in.

The group is asking for and sending donations of blankets, sheets, towels, bleach, dog treats and food, and other dog supplies to shelters and rescues in the flooded areas where animals were not able to get out.  This also includes bandages and such for injuries. Pleasant Valley School District – organizing internal campaign that wil designate funds to Team Rubicon, which is aiding in relief efforts. Team Rubicon is made up of military veterans and was created by PV graduate Jake Woods.If you're interested in supporting Team Rubicons’s relief efforts, visit or text HARVEY to 87872 to receive information on donating the cause.

Quad Cities River Bandits - will be fundraising for Hurricane Harvey victims during the team's final slate of home games this weekend. The River Bandits, Class-A Affiliate of the Houston Astros, will collect financial donations, clothes, and needed supplies.

The team will donate all proceeds from the 50-50 raffle for all three games as well as host an online auction of River Bandits merchandise and memorabilia. Anyone who donates $10 or more this weekend will receive a free general admission ticket, while anyone who donates $500 or more will be rewarded with a free suite rental for any Monday through Thursday River Bandits home game next April. Hy-Vee - accepting customers’ donations for those affected by Hurricane Harvey. Hy-Vee will match all donations received from August 30 to September 30, up to $100,000. Funds will be provided to the American Red Cross to help with relief efforts, including supporting volunteer efforts, opening shelters and providing meals and other supplies.

Two Rivers YMCA –  The Greater Houston YMCA is serving as both shelter sites and safe places for people while they are looking for overnight shelter. They are also helping community members with many basics needs.  Donations can be made at:

Wal-Mart - To help those in need, Walmart is launching a customer campaign with the American Red Cross to assist with Hurricane Harvey relief. As part of the customer campaign, Walmart is matching customer donations two to one with cash and product donations of up to $10 million to support American Red Cross disaster relief. 

Werner Restoration – Collecting the following items for men and women through Friday, September 9. (no children items, please):

      •  All personal hygiene items such as shampoo, conditioner, maker up, curling irons, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.

      •  Clothing such as socks, underwear, white shirts etc. in all sizes for both men and women.

Valley Construction – Looking for donations to fill two semi-trailers to deliver to Houston area. Items needed:

    •  Plastic totes

    •  Bleach

    •  Flashlights/batteries

    •  Mop/brooms/shovels

    •  Baby diapers

    •  Water/Gatorade

    •  Dry baby food

    •  Towels/bath towels/ paper towels

    •  Dish soap

    •  Laundry detergent

    •  Gloves

    •  First aid supplies

    •  Hygiene items

    •  Kids school supplies

    •  Garbage bags

    •  Pet food
