The Quad Cities Chamber is partnering with the U.S. Small Business Administration to conduct an all-day Boots to Business Reboot on Thursday, June 29th at the Quad Cities Chamber office in Davenport.

Boots to Business is an entrepreneurial education and training program offered by the S.B.A. as a training track within the Department of Defense's Transition Assistance Program (TAP). The curriculum provides valuable assistance to transitioning Service members exploring business ownership or other self-employment opportunities by leading participants through the key steps for evaluating business concepts and providing the foundational knowledge required to develop a business plan. In addition, participants are introduced to SBA resources available to help access start-up capital and additional technical assistance.

Boots to Business Reboot is a two-step entrepreneurship training program offered by the U.S. Small Business Administration through a public private partnership with the Institute of Veterans and Military Families, The Marcus Foundation and First Data Corporation.

This course is open to Veterans of all era (Service members including members of the National Guard and Reserves) and their spouses.
