Companies in the Quad Cities have already enrolled over 150 interns to participate in the Young Professionals of the Quad Cities yearly summer program, InternQC. Created as a way to showcase life in the Quad Cities to young talent, the program has grown significantly each year to help employers attract young professionals to the region and connect them to a network that will help them thrive.

“Our goal when attracting new employees is to hire skilled individuals who have a desire to make the Quad Cities region their life long residence, and become active in the communities in which they live. We began enrolling our summer interns in the InternQC program a few years ago which has helped us reinforce that the Quad Cities is a great place to live and work by providing unique opportunities to meet other young people, make new friends, and explore our community. InternQC is one of this region’s most efficient and effective opportunities for employers to showcase our community to young talent. I encourage every employer who has interns to get them involved in the InternQC program.” - Bill Stoermer, Senior Communications Manager, Exelon Generation
