With the New Year comes an opportunity for new sponsorship opportunities. In 2018 Arconic, Bush Construction, and Mediacom return as Annual Sponsors for Government Affairs, along with a new sponsor: Restoration St. Louis. Companies small and large realize that there are many ways to be a leader of economic growth in the region and Restoration St. Louis investment in Government Affairs makes an incredible impact on our work.
"Restoration St. Louis chose to sponsor the Annual Government Affairs because our company’s mission relies on government aided programs which recently been under fire," says Christine Ostrowski, VP of Finance. "The Government Affairs platform allows us to join numerous organizations and create a stronger voice, providing the opportunities for meetings with officials that could help bring about needed changes to further development for the Quad Cities."

Annual Capitol Visits
Every year, the Chamber organizes a delegation to visit each of our three capitols (Washington, Springfield, and Des Moines). Our aim is to advocate for the needs of our communities, build partnerships to help accomplish our goals, and to provide an opportunity for our members to interact and engage with policymakers and experts. In addition to meeting with our own elected officials, we meet with leadership in the legislatures as well as our governors and key agencies.
