The Bridges Community Resource Fair will be held 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2017, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 2136 Brady Street, in Davenport.
This event is free to the public and aims to connect community members with social service agencies right here in our area, and creates opportunities for organizations to network locally. Attendees will be able to learn about local support groups, mental and behavioral programs, legal and financial services, recreational activities and faith organizations, among others.
Pizza and refreshments will be provided. This event is hosted by the Bridges Iowa/Illinois Family Violence Coalition and is sponsored by Family Resources and Rosecrance New Life Outpatient Center.

Bridges, an Iowa/Illinois Family Violence Coalition, was formed in 1999 as a bi-state task force with significant representation from Family Resources, the Iowa Department of Human Services, the Illinois Division of Children and Family Services, and Iowa and Illinois judicial systems and law enforcement . The purpose of Bridges is to enhance a coordinated community response to family violence through a continuum of care, awareness, education, direct service, and evaluation. Bridges aspires to promote best practices by facility the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges guidelines.
Rosecrance is a private not-for-profit organization that provided behavioral health services to more than 32,000 children, teens, adults and families this past year. Rosecrance provides addiction treatment through residential and outpatient programs in Rockford and Chicagoland and elsewhere in Illinois, southern Wisconsin and eastern Iowa. In addition, Rosecrance offers community mental health services in Rockford, Belvidere, McHenry County and Champaign/Urbana. The organization was founded in 1916. (More information at rosecrance.org.)
