QUAD-CITIES, IL – Arizona-based engineering firm Taylor RyMar Corporation (TRC) has joined Rock Island-based IMEG Corp. Effective March 1, TRC and the Phoenix offices of KJWW and TTG Engineers will operate as one under their corporate IMEG name.
The new partnership produces a regional team of 50 professionals providing a complete range of engineering design and related services along with the comprehensive resources of IMEG. The merger maintains the existing client-centric relationships and design innovation that have guided the three firms for more than 60 years.
"We are very excited to welcome Taylor RyMar into our company," said IMEG President and CEO Paul VanDuyne. “This unique strategic opportunity combines TRC’s multiple years of expertise in the Southwest region with KJWW’s and TTG’s expansive capabilities. As always, we remain focused on our customers and on strengthening and expanding our offerings to continue to deliver ever-greater value.”
"While we are very proud of the nearly 40-year history of our firm, we also recognized that the next step for our team and clients was to merge with a firm of comparable quality that would enable us to expand services," said TRC President Rod Taylor. "IMEG shares our philosophy of helping our clients grow and succeed, and the merger will broaden and deepen our existing industry specializations, enabling us to offer more comprehensive services tailored to our clients."
The three Phoenix locations will move into one office later this spring.
IMEG, headquartered in Rock Island and formed through a 2015 merger of KJWW Engineering and TTG Engineers, has more than 1,000 employees at 34 national and international locations.
