Ginny Wilson Peter’s personal mission is to nurture and inspire others to reach for the stars – and that’s what she does through her leadership development business, Integrity Integrated.
"I believe that anyone can be a leader in their own way and that is where my passion for helping others reach their full potential comes from,” Wilson-Peters says.
Integrity Integrated is an honoree for the Small Business of the Year at the 2015 Community Impact Awards. She believes that developing stronger leaders can have a profound positive impact on business and the community at large.
"I believe strongly in the power of community,” she says. "I believe leaders have the most impact in areas of passion and they can truly make a difference in the organizations they choose to help. I see community service and volunteerism as an investment in our community and the people who live in it. If I can make a different for one person, then I’ve made a difference.”
Wilson-Peters also points to research about employee engagement that shows that over the past 10 years, only 30% of American employees are fully engaged in their work environment. The number one thing that impacts the level of employee engagement is their relationship with their management, so developing stronger leaders will lead to stronger employee engagement. This in turn leads to better customer service, and potentially increased profits.
